Job description: Region Manager

Essential Duties

As Region Manager Oklahoma City you will be responsible for the smooth running of your district.

Your duties include managing daily operations to accommodate current and future organizational needs, compliance with our company’s policies and procedures, and planning the use of marketing, sales, materials and human resources, and information technology.

 

Specific Responsibilities

 

PLANNING

Strategic positioning of Fronterra Geosciences and its products and effective communication of the essence of the products to the E&P community. Identify new customers and maintain solid relationship with existing customers.  Responsible to aid development of the region’s operational plan for the current fiscal year, as well as a 3-year view of future growth. Responsible for the operational focus as well as the integration of operational areas.

MARKETING and SALES

You are involved in new product strategies along with market research and trend analysis to establish new benefits and products.

Responsibilities include helping develop market penetration strategies, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies as well as enhancements in the field.

Appropriately position Fronterra Geosciences’ products in the marketplace.

Responsible for generating sales from the company’s products/services to solidify the product's position as a dominant force in the marketplace.

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Set individual as well as team operations quotas.

Monitor goals and objectives. Hold team accountable to forecasts and insist on pro-activity in the marketplace.

Ensure that goals and needs of individual staff members are being met.

Provide the Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer with a weekly report as laid out by the Managing Director and COO.

 

Skill Requirements:

 

Strong level of experience in leadership and consulting, strategic and business development, decision making and judgment.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current business issues and climate within the oil and gas industry.

Experienced in dealing and negotiating with senior level executives; strong customer focus.

Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.  Self starter.

Dynamic presentation and public speaking skills; excellent communication skills

Collaborative approach to problem solving for win/win solutions with peer team members, management and customers.

Excellent written and verbal English skills with ability to negotiate at the most senior level.

Deep business sense and advanced knowledge of the financial aspects of the industry.

 

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:

Applicant has a preferred background of 20 + years in the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 10 + years of relevant experience of senior level operations management /business development/ sales. Geosciences background a plus.
