Operation Blessing
Mr. Kumar Periasamy, Operation Blessing's International Disaster Relief Director, and Ms. Shannon Kane, Director of Major Donors, gave a very informative presentation during our Lunch and Learn session on September 8. They showed a video of their Water Wells and Cisterns program, one of several programs organized and funded by Operation Blessing, and each made a presentation. Fronterra Geosciences has made Operation Blessing a focus for the company's charitable giving, and encourages all its employees by making donations to match those made by employees. As Hermann Homann said at the presentation, "It's really not the big checks, it is the consistency, the continued support that we show to a program like Operation Blessing that makes a big difference."
Operation Blessing representatives visited Fronterra's Houston headquarters and showed some of the results of Fronterra's support for their Water Wells & Cisterns program.
