Senior Reservoir Engineer |

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of reservoir engineering, providing both technical and team leadership within a multi-disciplinary team. Coaching and mentoring entry level team members in skills and techniques required. Plan and manage projects your individual projects in addition to providing guidance and expertise in conducting reservoir engineering studies using appropriate techniques including evaluating oil and gas reservoir performance and depletion strategies. Perform reservoir evaluations and estimations of recoveries. Develop oil/gas reservoir models integrating well performance. Conduct and oversee reservoir simulation activities to predict reservoir performance under different production scenarios. Perform technical and economic evaluations to add reserves. Lead reservoir characterization team to assure reports are delivered on time and on budget. Maintain close relationship with client to asses needs and offer solutions. Share technical expertise across disciplines. Support the business development team in identifying potential new customers. Interact with customers and deliver basic presentations. Support discipline leaders in planning and executing integrated multidisciplinary reservoir studies and identify strategic areas of future growth.
Skill Requirements:
Applicant must demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Reservoir Engineering such as understanding of surface requirements and where reservoir engineering fits in with Asset Management. You will have an input to the design and location of surface facilities and will help to maximize the effectiveness of the inputs and outputs in your modeling through interacting with all team members. Applicant is expected to lead multi -disciplinary projects and expertise in asset and project management is required. Capable of reservoir simulation modelling in more than one software program. Exposure and knowledge of the following software programs preferred: Pressure Transient Analysis (Fekete, Kappa), Rate Transient Analysis (Fekete, Kappa), Material Balance (Petroleum Experts), Production Analysis (Kappa) and Fluid Characterization (Schlumberger, CMG, Landmark).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for delivering customer reports and presentations as well as relating the business impact of Reservoir Engineering to other disciplines are essential. Excellent problem solving skills with a drive for results and a track record of innovation and ingenuity. Must be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams and be able to communicate and cooperate with team members, other disciplines and management. We are looking for a dedicated, flexible and pro-active individual with a positive attitude, and good interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience or related Earth Science discipline plus + 11 years experience or M.Sc. with 9+ years experience or PhD with 7+ years experience. At least two years of experience in project management. Active member of professional associations. Knowledge of Spanish a plus, but not required.
